This involves arming yourself, setting traps, enhancing your empire, and guiding your Heroes into battle against the conquistadors.

Defend Against the Invaders

• Immerse yourself in the Aztec coast with over twenty distinct levels featuring unique layouts set against picturesque sandy beaches and turquoise waters.
• Encounter a diverse array of enemies, each with unique traits, resistances, and abilities. From agile scouts to formidable armored veterans, as well as crafty engineers and daring sappers, each confrontation requires careful strategy.

Strategic Trap Placement

• Fortify your defenses by strategically placing traps throughout the various chambers of your sanctuaries. Prioritize the protection of your treasure room above all else.
• Choose from eighteen distinct traps including sharp spikes, poisoned arrows, burning embers, boiling water pools, mud traps, barriers, and even large fans. The variety allows for imaginative defensive strategies.
• Strategize your selections carefully: while numerous traps are available, you can only deploy a limited number. Consider the type of damage each inflicts—be it physical, fire, water, poison, or bleeding.
• Adapt to the battlefield conditions: Each level presents different challenges and enemy types, necessitating a tailored approach to trap configurations.
• Encourage experimentation by upgrading traps in the workshop with diverse enhancements for innovative setups.

Command Your Heroes

• Your Heroes are empowered by Aztec deities, and their distinct abilities are crucial for triumphing over the conquistadors.
• Select from four unique heroes that vary in strength and speed; they can either charge directly into battle or engage from a distance.
• Each hero possesses two primary abilities and an Ultimate power that range from hurling fireballs to summoning skeletons or healing comrades, ensuring versatile combat options.
• Enhance and customize your heroes through combat experience to level them up and equip them with enchanted runes while also personalizing their appearances.
• Maintain control over your Heroes' actions and abilities; their success or defeat rests entirely in your hands.
